What started your genealogy journey?

Thanks to the extreme insightfulness of my wonderful husband, he suggested I open an Ancestry.com account more than ten years ago. He thought I may enjoy going genealogy as a hobby and it would be a fruitful way to pass my leisure time. Little did we both know, it would grow from hobby, to organization membership, to obsession, to lifestyle, then career.

What inspired your interest in genealogy or is this your first dabble with family history? It is never to late too start and you have never learned it all; I assure you, there is always more to learn.
